Additionally, the company offers over-the-counter pharmaceutical products. The company was formerly known as Santendo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in 1958. Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was founded in 1890 and is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
