The Biography & Mission
Victor Strand is a former software engineer turned quantitative dividend analyst. After spending over a decade building data pipelines for enterprise systems, Victor turned his analytical focus to the stock market—specifically, the mathematics of compounding and cash flow generation.
The creation of DividendFlow was born out of frustration. Retail investors were being forced to pay $500+ a year for basic dividend safety scores and DRIP projections. The industry was gatekeeping financial independence behind expensive paywalls.
Victor built DividendFlow to democratize institutional-grade dividend data, combining SEC filings, real-time API feeds, and tax-aware DRIP algorithms into a frictionless, free tool for everyone.
Investment Philosophy
Cash Flow Over Speculation
We don't guess where the stock price will be in 5 years. We calculate exactly how much cash the business will pay you to wait.
The DRIP Snowball Effect
Time and dividend reinvestment are the only two free lunches in investing. Every tool on this site is built to visualize and optimize that compounding curve.
Downside Protection First
A 10% yield is useless if the dividend is cut tomorrow. We prioritize payout ratios, free cash flow coverage, and balance sheet health over chasing high yields.
The Math Behind the Tool (Our Innovation)
Unlike generic calculators, Victor engineered the DividendFlow engine to be tax-aware and risk-adjusted. Our proprietary projections account for international withholding taxes, historical dividend CAGR, and realistic price-to-earnings expansions. We don't just multiply yield by investment; we simulate the exact compounding path your money takes across Roth IRAs, 401(k)s, and taxable accounts.
Editorial & Data Standards
Institutional Data Sources
All live market data, pricing, and historical dividends are sourced directly from Financial Modeling Prep (FMP), aggregating data directly from SEC EDGAR filings.
No Black Boxes
Our math is transparent. We show you the exact year-by-year breakdown of your DRIP projections.
Objective Independence
DividendFlow is not a broker. We do not manage your money. Our analysis is 100% objective, algorithm-driven, and free from Wall Street bias.
