The company also develops AB8939, synthetic microtubule destabilizer for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia; and AB20001, which is in Phase 2 clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of masitinib combined with isoquercetin in hospitalized patients with moderate and severe COVID-19. It markets its masitinib under the Masivet brand in Europe. AB Science S.A. was incorporated in 2001 and is headquartered in Paris, France.
