In addition, it engages in the distribution of prescription and over-the-counter drugs, non-drug products, and health and beauty products; and private manufacturing and labeling activities. Further, the company manufactures and sells facial and body creams, arthritic pain relief medications, and hair and nail care products to pharmacies, beauty salons, beauty supply stores, and other fine shops. Amexdrug Corporation markets its products under the Sponix name. The company distributes its products through its subsidiaries primarily to independent pharmacies and secondarily to small-sized pharmacy chains, alternative care facilities, and other wholesalers and retailers in the state of California. The company was formerly known as Harlyn Products, Inc. and changed its name to Amexdrug Corporation in April 2000 to reflect the change in its business to the sale of pharmaceutical products. Amexdrug Corporation was founded in 1963 and is based in Commerce, California.
