The equity securities in which the fund generally invests are common stocks and American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs"). The fund typically invests in securities of companies with market capitalizations of $3 billion or greater and the adviser expects, under normal market conditions, to invest in at least three different countries and invest at least 40% (or, if conditions are not favorable, invest at least 30%) of its assets in foreign companies.

The fund seeks to provide the majority of the returns associated with its primary benchmark, the Standard & Poor's 500 Total Return Index (S&P 500 Index), while exposing investors to less risk through lower volatility and still offering incremental income.
