It also holds interest in the Rimrock project that covers an area of 1,663 acres situated in Northwest of Elko, Nevada; and the Burntland mineral property covering approximately 1,200 hectares located in county of Restigouche, New Brunswick, Canada. The company was formerly known as Chimata Gold Corp. and changed its name to CAT Strategic Metals Corporation in February 2019. CAT Strategic Metals Corporation was incorporated in 2010 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
