The fund's managers consider "mid cap" companies to be those with market capitalizations similar to companies listed on the Russell MidCap® Value Index at the time of investment. It invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities of U.S. mid cap companies. Equity securities in which the fund may invest include common stocks, securities convertible into common stocks, REITs, and master limited partnerships ("MLPs").
