The fund invests at least 80% of its assets (including borrowings for investment purposes) in common stocks of small capitalization companies that at the time of purchase are similar in market capitalization to those listed on the Russell 2000® Value Index. It may invest up to 20% of its assets in foreign securities (including securities of emerging market countries), including American Depository Receipts ("ADRs") or Global Depository Receipts ("GDRs") that are traded on U.S. markets. The fund may invest up to 20% of its assets in investment-grade fixed income securities of any maturity.

The Fund will invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. Standard & Poor's compiles, maintains and calculates the Index, which is composed of 50 securities traded on the S&P 500 Index that historically have provided high dividend yields and low volatility. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted semi-annually, in January and July.
