Alongside this focus, the fund also has stakes in US bonds, pooled-investments, asset and mortgage-backed securities. Most of the securities the fund holds are US dollar-denominated and up to a quarter of its total assets can be invested in foreign debt securities. The selection of the funds securities takes into account economic trends, comprehensive research, and applicable ESG factors. Additionally, EVSB has the flexibility to invest into below investment grade securities, but this is capped at 10%. The fund targets a portfolio duration of one year or less, which might extend in certain high volatility periods.
