The investment seeks high total return until its target retirement date; thereafter the fund's objective will be to seek high current income and, as a secondary objective, capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in a combination of Fidelity® U.S. equity funds, international equity funds, bond funds, and short-term funds (underlying Fidelity® funds). The adviser allocates assets according to a neutral asset allocation strategy that adjusts over time until it reaches an allocation similar to that of the Fidelity Freedom® Blend Income Fund, approximately 10 to 19 years after the year 2065.

The fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets in component securities of the index. The index contains a minimum of 40 stocks, which are equally weighted, and no single sector is allowed to comprise more than 30% of the index weight. It seeks to remain fully invested at all times in securities and/or financial instruments that, in combination, provide exposure to the returns of the index without regard to market conditions, trends or direction.
