It is co-managed by Confluence Investment Management LLC. The fund invests in the public equity markets of the United States. It seeks to invest in stocks of companies operating in the specialty finance and other financial sectors. The fund primarily invests in value stocks of companies, as well as in Business Development Companies, REITs, and other mortgage related securities. It employs fundamental analysis to create its portfolio. The fund benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against a composite benchmark comprised of 70% Wells Fargo BDC Index, 20% FTSE NAREIT Mortgage REIT Index, and 10% S&P SmallCap Financials Index.
