It may also invest in investment companies ("underlying funds"), which include domestic and foreign mutual funds, as well as in exchange traded funds ("ETFs"), closed-end funds, and unit investment trusts. The fund will have a minimum of 0% and a maximum of 30% of its net assets invested in equity securities or underlying funds investing in equity securities. It will also have a minimum of 70% and a maximum of 100% of its net assets invested in fixed income securities.

The Fund will invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. Standard & Poor's compiles, maintains and calculates the Index, which is composed of 50 securities traded on the S&P 500 Index that historically have provided high dividend yields and low volatility. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted semi-annually, in January and July.
