GWG Holdings, Inc. was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. On April 20, 2022, GWG Holdings, Inc., along with its affiliates, filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
