The Company through its wholly owned subsidiary, Jefferson Security Bank (the "Bank") provides general banking services in Jefferson County and Berkeley County, West Virginia, Washington County, Maryland and the surrounding areas. Jefferson Security Bank is a West Virginia state-chartered bank that was formed and opened for business on May 19, 1869, making it the oldest operating corporation and bank in the state of West Virginia. The Bank serves individuals, businesses, local municipalities, community organizations and entrepreneurial efforts within its target markets. JFI also owns JSB Financial Services, LLC, an inactive subsidiary previously used for offering financial services.
