The fund seeks to identify securities of issuers located throughout the world that they believe are of high quality with sustainable and high returns on operating capital with dominant franchises, powerful intangible assets - notably brands, networks, licenses and patents - and pricing power, resulting in high gross margins. It may utilize foreign currency forward exchange contracts, which are also derivatives, in connection with its investments in foreign securities. The fund is non-diversified.

The Fund will invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. Standard & Poor's compiles, maintains and calculates the Index, which is composed of 50 securities traded on the S&P 500 Index that historically have provided high dividend yields and low volatility. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted semi-annually, in January and July.
