It invests in at least three countries, and invests at least 40% of its total assets in securities of non-U.S. companies. Equity securities include, but are not limited to, common stocks, preferred stocks, convertible securities, rights and warrants, and depositary receipts (including ADRs, EDRs and GDRs), which are certificates typically issued by a bank or trust company that represent ownership interests in securities of non-U.S. or U.S. companies.

The Fund will invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. Standard & Poor's compiles, maintains and calculates the Index, which is composed of 50 securities traded on the S&P 500 Index that historically have provided high dividend yields and low volatility. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted semi-annually, in January and July.
