The fund seeks to match the performance of the entire U.S. stock market by tracking the performance of its benchmark index, the S&P Total Market Index (S&P Index). The S&P Index is a broad-market index consisting of all eligible U.S. common equities, including large-, mid-, small-, and micro-cap stocks.

The index contains a minimum of 40 stocks, which are equally weighted, and no single sector is allowed to comprise more than 30% of the index weight.
