The model is regularly updated and combined in a proprietary optimizer, with risk and control estimates as well as constraints on position sizing. The output of the optimizer drives both buy/sell recommendations, which are reviewed and approved by the portfolio managers. The fund also incorporates ESG considerations as an input for security selection. The fund may select stocks of any market capitalization from the reference index. The actively managed fund may invest in derivatives.
