The company operates through four segments: Northern Operations, South Operations, Central Operations, and Container Operations. It offers logistics services primarily for exporting commodities, including integrated solution for transportation, handling, storage, and shipping from the production centers to the principal ports in the south and southeast of Brazil; and railway, highway, transshipment, and port elevation operations. The company transports agricultural commodities, including fertilizers, corn, wheat, soy, bran, vegetable oil, and sugar; and fuel, construction, steel, forestry, consumption, petrochemical, and container products. It is also involved in the provision of terminal and storage services; and container logistics services for various cargo, including meats, wood, and other consumer goods. The company was formerly known as ALL – América Latina Logística S.A. Rumo S.A. was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Curitiba, Brazil.
