The company also undertakes roads, highways, bridges, and water and wastewater treatment plants projects; and digging of tunnels and underpasses, and other works. In addition, it develops residential and commercial units; and rents properties, such as student dormitories, office buildings, and commercial spaces. The company was formerly known as Housing and Construction Holding Company Ltd. and changed its name to Shikun & Binui Ltd. in March 2009. The company was founded in 1920 and is headquartered in Airport City, Israel.
