The company was formerly known as Elephant Talk Communications Corp. and changed its name to Pareteum Corporation in November 2016. The company was incorporated in 1962 and is headquartered in New York, New York. On May 15, 2022, Pareteum Corporation, along with its affiliates, filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
