Under normal circumstances, the fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in common stocks of U.S. companies that have above average dividend yield and that demonstrate financial strength, which are high quality companies with strong balance sheets, predictable earnings and cash flow growth, and a history of dividend growth. It primarily invests in common stocks of large capitalization companies, including REITs. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in equity securities of U.S. companies that pay regular dividends.
