This fund's primary objective is to achieve the highest possible return, aligning with an investment strategy focused on U.S. Treasury instruments. A significant portion, specifically a minimum of 80% of its net asset value, is dedicated to zero-coupon debt securities. Its core holdings largely consist of zero-coupon U.S. Treasury bonds and comparable assets, which include certain zero-coupon obligations issued by U.S. government agencies. The fund also has the flexibility to allocate up to one-fifth (20%) of its portfolio to other AAA-rated zero-coupon securities from U.S. government agencies. It's important to note that these zero-coupon instruments do not provide regular interest or principal payouts during their term. Structured to mature in 2020, the fund is scheduled for liquidation around the close of that target year.
