Applied Therapeutics, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical firm dedicated to developing innovative treatments for cardiovascular conditions, galactosemia, and various diabetes-related complications. The company's primary drug candidate, AT-007, has successfully concluded Phase 1/2 studies for galactosemia in healthy adult volunteers and is presently in a pediatric clinical study for the same indication in children. Additionally, AT-007 is being investigated for its potential to address sorbitol dehydrogenase deficiency and phosphomannomutase enzyme-CDG. Another key compound, AT-001, is currently undergoing pivotal Phase III clinical trials. This therapy is being evaluated for its efficacy in treating both diabetic cardiomyopathy and diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Beyond its clinical pipeline, the company also maintains an early-stage preclinical portfolio. This includes AT-003, which is being developed for diabetic retinopathy, and AT-104. AT-104 is a PI3K inhibitor specifically designed to target T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a rare form of blood cancer.
