Arkema S.A. is a global enterprise that produces and distributes a comprehensive portfolio of specialty chemicals and high-performance materials. The company's operations are strategically organized across four key business divisions: Adhesive Solutions, Advanced Materials, Coating Solutions, and Intermediates. The Adhesive Solutions division furnishes a wide array of adhesive products crucial for construction projects, building renovation, do-it-yourself tasks, durable consumer goods, and various packaging and non-woven applications. This segment delivers essential sealants, tile and flooring adhesives, and waterproofing systems for both professional and individual builders, alongside specialized industrial adhesives used in automotive manufacturing, textiles, glazing, flexible and rigid packaging, and hygiene products. Within its Advanced Materials segment, Arkema provides specialized polyamides and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), in addition to performance-enhancing additives such as unique surfactants, molecular sieves, organic peroxides, thiochemicals, and hydrogen peroxide. These advanced components are vital for a broad spectrum of industries, including automotive and transportation, oil and gas, renewable energy, consumer products, electronics, construction, coatings, animal nutrition, and water treatment. The Coating Solutions segment offers a range of EU/US acrylics, coating resins, Sartomer photocure resins, and Coatex rheology additives. These ingredients are fundamental to the production of decorative paints, industrial coatings, and adhesives, serving diverse sectors such as paper manufacturing, superabsorbents, water treatment, oil and gas extraction, 3D printing, and electronics. Finally, the Intermediates division supplies essential industrial chemicals, including fluorogases and acrylics, which play a critical role in construction, refrigeration and air conditioning, automotive, coatings, and water treatment applications. Arkema S.A. was founded in 2003 and maintains its corporate headquarters in Colombes, France.
