Artesian Resources Corporation (ARTNA) is currently trading at $34.01, 8% below its 52-week high. The current dividend yield is 3.73% based on an annual payout of $1.27 per share.
Artesian Resources Corporation operates in the regulated utilities sector, presenting income-focused investors with an attractive 3.77% dividend yield trading at a reasonable P/E ratio of 15.2. The company maintains a healthy 57% payout ratio, ensuring that its annual dividend of $1.27 is well-covered by earnings and highly sustainable over the near term. Over the past five years, the dividend has grown at a compound annual growth rate of 4.1%. While this trajectory reflects steady, predictable increases typical of small-cap water utilities, the modest growth rate combined with a $0.3 billion market capitalization suggests limited capital appreciation potential compared to larger utility peers.
