The fund's primary objective is to achieve substantial capital appreciation over the long term. It generally invests in the stock of companies that the adviser believes are poised to increase in value. The portfolio managers' investment decisions stem mainly from a thorough analysis of individual businesses, rather than being driven by broader economic predictions. To identify suitable larger companies, the managers utilize a diverse array of analytical research techniques and tools that meet their specific investment standards. Under normal market conditions, they seek out securities of companies where earnings or revenues are not only expanding but are doing so at an accelerating pace.
