Astronics Corporation, through its various subsidiaries, specializes in developing and manufacturing products and solutions for the aerospace, defense, and electronics sectors. The company operates globally, serving clients across the United States, broader North America, Asia, Europe, South America, and other international regions. Its operations are divided into two main segments: Aerospace and Test Systems. The Aerospace segment offers a diverse range of products, including lighting and safety systems, electrical power generation and distribution networks, seat actuation systems, aircraft structural components, avionics, and system certification services. This segment caters to a broad customer base, encompassing original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) that build aircraft for commercial, military, and general aviation purposes; suppliers to these OEMs; aircraft operators such as airlines and their vendors; and different branches of the U.S. Department of Defense. Meanwhile, the Test Systems segment designs, develops, produces, and maintains automated test systems that support the aerospace and defense, communications, and mass transit industries. This segment also provides wireless communication testing for the civil land mobile radio market, alongside training and simulation devices for both commercial and military applications. Its primary customers include original equipment manufacturers and key government contractors in the electronics and military product sectors. Founded in 1968, Astronics Corporation is headquartered in East Aurora, New York.
