The Exploration and Production segment explores for and produces natural gas and crude oil from deposits, including geological surveys, geophysical research, drilling, and development gas and oil fields, and production of hydrocarbons. The Trade and Storage segment trades in natural gas and electricity; and operates underground gas storage facilities. The Distribution segment is involved in the distribution of natural gas through distribution network to retail, industrial, and wholesale customers; and operation, maintenance, and expansion of gas distribution networks. The Generation segment generates and sells electricity and heat. The Other segment is involved in the engineering design and construction of structures; and provision of machinery and equipment for the extraction and energy sectors, as well as catering and hospitality, and insurance services. The company was founded in 1982 is headquartered in Warsaw, Poland.
