Mineralz & Water: This segment is dedicated to the remediation and stabilization of contaminated substances, converting them into secondary raw materials primarily for the construction sector in the Netherlands and Belgium. Its activities encompass the treatment of diverse polluted materials such as bottom and fly ash, various soils, old asphalt, industrial effluent, sludges, chemical waste, incinerator by-products, and packaged hazardous substances. 3. Specialities: Focusing on niche recycling and the diversion of particular waste types, this segment also manages waste processing facilities on behalf of city and county councils across the United Kingdom. Additionally, it handles the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and glass. Renewi maintains a significant operational presence across multiple European countries, including the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Portugal, and Hungary. Originally established in 1880 as Shanks Group plc, the company rebranded as Renewi plc in February 2017. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom.
