Under normal market conditions, the fund pursues its objective by investing at least 80% of its net assets (including any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of companies based in the United States. It invests primarily in equity securities (generally common and preferred stocks) of large U.S. companies. The Adviser uses a proprietary quantitative three factor model designed to select up to 50 stocks from the Russell 3000 Index.

The Fund will invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. Standard & Poor's compiles, maintains and calculates the Index, which is composed of 50 securities traded on the S&P 500 Index that historically have provided high dividend yields and low volatility. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted semi-annually, in January and July.
