It invests in the stocks of large cap companies. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the FTSE China A50 Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. It was formerly known as iShares Asia Trust - iShares FTSE/Xinhau A50 China Index ETF. iShares Asia Trust - iShares FTSE A50 China Index ETF was formed on December 13, 2003 and is domiciled in Hong Kong.
