The company also develops Ideal BioStent, a bioabsorbable stent for interventional cardiology and peripheral vessel applications. MultiCell Technologies, Inc. has a license agreement with Corning Incorporated and Pfizer Inc. The company was formerly known as Exten Industries, Inc. and changed its name to MultiCell Technologies, Inc. in April 2004.
