It develops in vitro diagnostic products, such as IONA Test, a non-invasive pre-natal test (NIPT) for Down's syndrome, Edwards' syndrome, and Patau's Syndrome in pregnant women; Cystic Fibrosis Screening tests; Rapid Aneuploidy Analysis, a confirmatory diagnostic test carried out after amniocentesi; and Recurrent Pregnancy Loss, a PCR assay for the routine diagnosis of the six most common chromosomes related to pregnancy loss, as well as DPYD genotyping products. The company also offers Ranger, a technology platform for sample size selection and enrichment; Elucigene DPYD assay, a PCR test to predict a patient's response to a chemotherapy treatment; and Clarigene SARS-CoV-2 CE-IVD, a PCR assay used for routine COVID-19 testing. In addition, it provides genomic services; sample preparation and analysis tools; and bioinformatics and software products, as well as extraction for DNA, RNA/miRNA, and nucleons; quantification; genotyping; gene expression; methylation; and microarray services for clinical research organizations. The company was formerly known as Premaitha Health PLC and changed its name to Yourgene Health Plc in November 2018. Yourgene Health Plc was incorporated in 2000 and is headquartered in Manchester, the United Kingdom.
