Established in 1985 and headquartered in Placentia, California, InVitro International specializes in creating and supplying non-animal testing kits to markets both within the United States and globally. Key among their offerings is the Irritection Assay System, an in vitro diagnostic tool designed to identify, categorize, and forecast the potential for eye and skin irritation across a broad spectrum of items, including cosmetics, general consumer products, pharmaceuticals, and various chemical raw materials. They also provide Corrositex, another in vitro test specifically for determining chemical corrosiveness. Beyond product sales, the company delivers tailored technological support for the implementation and use of the Irritection system, alongside offering independent laboratory services for irritation and corrosion assessments. Their solutions are predominantly adopted by manufacturers involved in producing surfactants, petrochemicals, cosmetics, textiles, paper and pulp, pharmaceuticals, films and resins, solvents and cleaners, and other chemical raw materials.
