This fund primarily allocates capital to investment-grade debt instruments issued by U.S.-based entities. The advisor also utilizes short selling, but its main purpose is to manage particular risks, such as interest rate or yield spread fluctuations, associated with its long-term holdings. It may also be used to exploit valuation differences between securities. Crucially, this short selling activity is not employed for the purpose of forecasting market direction.
